Work-life issues
I offer sessions for children, young people, and adults. Younger children and adolescents might benefit from a mix of individual and family sessions, and we can discuss what works best for you.
In our first meeting, we’ll go over your goals and talk about how we can work together so that you can make informed choices about our time together.
Each session is 60 minutes long. We'll determine how often we meet based on what works for you; usually, we start with weekly or fortnightly sessions.
I work with people for both short and long periods, and we can meet in person or online!
Family Therapy enables family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and feelings safely so that people can understand each other's experiences and views, and find ways of better caring for and supporting each other.
I have additional training in family-based models that have been found to be effective for the treatment of specific difficulties, for example, Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT, for Depression in Adolescents), or Family Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (FT-AN). Our initial sessions may be spent developing an understanding of the difficulties you are facing, the changes you want to see happening, and what approach we might use to work towards them.

Sessions are generally held every 2 to 3 weeks, and last 60 - 90 minutes.

Couple therapy can help couples of whichever marital status or sexual orientation resolve difficulties and improve communication.
Couples can work through communication struggles, infidelity or betrayal trauma, separation or divorce, life cycle transitions, physical or mental health struggles, or just have a neutral place to safely discuss any issues pertinent to them.

To achieve the best outcomes for each couple, I draw upon Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and the Exeter Model (Couple Therapy for Depression), in addition to the systemic and narrative ways of working.

Sessions are generally held every 2-3 weeks, and last 60 minutes.
Supervision
I am a certified systemic supervisor with experience providing clinical supervision to professionals in the third sector, as well as those in mental health and social care, through a systemic lens.
Should you wish to explore the possibility of regular supervision, please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss your needs.
